Verse Programmer
About the role
As a Verse Programmer, you will collaborate with teams to create innovative and solid game mechanics within UEFN using Verse.
Your day-to day will include:
- Gameplay, network and other programming.
- Code writing, testing, optimizing and debugging.
- Production of code and work documentation.
- Participation in evaluating tasks and setting priorities and schedules.
- Other tasks related to the above which may be asked of you from time to time.
What we are looking for
- University degree in Computer Science and Programming or equivalent.
- Familiarity with full-stack game development and rapid prototyping.
- Knowledge of Verse, C++ and JavaScript languages is an asset.
- Knowledge of UEFN and the Fortnite Creative ecosystem is an asset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Curiosity, creativity and autonomy.
- Spoken & written English (the role requires you to interact with clients and colleagues in other provinces and countries who do not speak French).
